    The Rehabilitation (Rehab) Manager may be from the Speech Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy discipline.  The Rehab Manager is a first line supervisor, supervising the day to day therapy operations for all 3 of the MN sites (Burnsville, Minnetonka, and North St. Paul).  As the Rehabilitation Manager, you will be responsible for supervising an interdisciplinary team of SLPs, CFYs, OTR/Ls and Assistants who provide direct therapy.  The Rehabilitation Manager receives ongoing supervision from the CEO/ Center Director.    The Rehabilitation Manager coordinates the policies, procedures and programs for the delivery of rehabilitation therapy programs to our clients. The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day therapy operations for one or more assigned therapy sites.  The Rehabilitation Manager provides direction and coordination of day-to-day scheduling decisions, supervising employees’ performance management, maintaining accurate supervisory notes, and providing training as needed.  The Rehabilitation Manager ensures that each new client has appropriate documentation and evaluations to develop a treatment plan, therapy schedules, and facility access and equipment.  The Rehabilitation Manager oversees the implementation of the Individual Treatment Plan by monitoring and evaluating program outcomes.  Problems that arise in the treatment program are expected to be resolved independently. The Rehabilitation Manager is expected to oversee that  services place the highest priority on the ethical delivery of therapy with the best interests of the clients at the center of his/her efforts.   Assure services are in compliance with professional and clinical competency standards, state and federal regulatory requirements. The Rehabilitation Manager maintains a professional and ethical relationship with Partners In Excellence’s clients and fellow employees.  The Rehabilitation Manager is a highly visible administrative position and will be interfacing with all levels of management within the organization.  The Rehabilitation Manager contributes to the accomplishment of objectives that will provide a high performance culture and emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, and goal attainment.

    Responsibilities

    •Supervising OTR's, COTA's, and SLP's who provide direct therapy
    •Responsible for making day to day scheduling decisions for their assigned sites
    •Supervising employees' performance management
    •Maintaining accurate supervisory notes
    •Provide training as needed
    •Ensure all new clients have appropriate documentation and evaluations to develop a treatment plan and therapy schedules
    •Oversees the implementation of the Individual Treatment Plan by monitoring and evaluating outcomes
    •Manages a client caseload of 60% productivity: provide screening, evaluations and treatment to clients to assist them in gaining functional skills

    Qualifications

    •Licensed in the State of Minnesota (Occupational Therapist must possess certification from NBCOT)
    •General knowledge of typical and special needs clients
    •Computer proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
    •Dependable, consistent, tactful
    •Must be able to work in a team, supervise others and comply with supervisory direction
